iGaming is on the rise in the Canadian province of Ontario. After becoming regulated in April, online iGaming operators and suppliers have been swarming. Each hopes to gain an early footing in a bustling and fertile marketplace.
Renowned iGaming operator, Pinnacle Gaming, has become the latest to acquire a license. This enables them to launch their range of quality sportsbook products in the region. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) approved the license.
Creating Infrastructure & Aiding Growth
One of the key benefits that Pinnacle brings to the Ontario market is its Pinnacle Solution B2B sector. This allows them to offer their sportsbook with trading and risk management services.
Their Pinnacle Solution has also since been approved and registered for iGaming-related supply. Paris Smith, Pinnacle’s chief executive, believes that with the new fair and regulatory system, Pinnacle can take Canadian online gambling to the next level.
The Ontario iGaming market generated around CA$162 million in profit in a recent report for the end of the quarter. This demonstrates immense growth in just a few months of launching.
